Breaking in new shoes today. As I was sitting in the BART station with my cousin, I said to her, “You’ve got to suffer for fashion.” That got me thinking about being comfortable and how I’m not sure if I know what being 100% comfortable means. Like breathing: I’m not sure if I’ve ever experienced what it’s like to breathe completely clearly without a stuffy nose. Instead, I’ve just adapted and that discomfort is my norm. So many bad habits I’ve developed over the years that I’ll never know what it’s like to feel fully comfortable.
It’s a Wrap… For Now
We had our last performance last night for the Bay Area Playwrights Festival. Overall, we had a great run. I feel like I benefited most from the experience, working with an awesome team whose knowledge exceeded mine by lightyears. I hope I’ll get a chance to work with them all again. Now my focus and energy will be on KT all the way!
