we had this yummy radish dish the other week along with a meal of various root vegetables. really simple appetizer – very french apparently.
ingredients:
– bunch of mini, bite-sized radishes (preferably with stalk intact)
– whipped butter
– hawaiian sea-salt or kosher salt
wash radishes and blot dry. set on a serving dish with whipped butter and sea salt. to eat, dip tip of radish in butter and then a light tap into the salt. eat raw!
it’s a crunchy, savory and bitter delight!
